Cedar represents the Centre for Service to Authors’ and related Rights (Centrum voor Dienstverlening Auteurs- en aanverwante Rechten). Cedar is responsible for managing several foundations involved in the collection of compensation for the use of material protected by copyright and the subsequent distribution of the compensation to the rightful beneficiaries, entitled to this compensation. Cedar maintains their administration and provides advice and service. The foundations below have a service contract with Cedar:
 
Foundation for Lending Rights (Stichting Leenrecht)
(Rights with regard to the loaning of protected works by libraries)
 
Foundation for Home Copying (Stichting de Thuiskopie)
(Collection and distribution of compensation on copies for own practice, study or use)
 
Foundation for Reprographic Reproduction Rights (Stichting Reprorecht)
(Collection and distribution of compensation on photocopies within trade and industry and governments)
 
Foundation for Publication and Reproduction Rights (Stichting PRO)
(The administrative office for copyright in Dutch schools)

Foundation Lira
(Collection and distribution of compensation on the use of text works for the benefit of literary authors, screen writers, translators/ editors and journalists)

Association VEVAM
Collection and distribution of compensation on the use of audiovisual works for the bennefit of film and television directors
